Knitting and crocheting. I’m nearly 30 and I don’t know how to do either, in addition to other “needly” crafts. The older I get, the more I embrace the lure and benefits of DIY. Going to the store, there are rarely things that satisfy Neil and my personal styles, almost forcing us to go without or settle for something we aren’t entirely happy with. I think knitting and crocheting would be a cool way to provide things for our home that not only are unique to our home and amiable to our aesthetic styles, but hold a deeper meaning and value to our lives.

Next time I am up there I will teach you to knit 🙂 – BFF

Umm…Jes. If you want to learn a real woman’s craft come stay with me. I’ll teach you to weave and then you’ll never want for any textile again…you could even make your own fabric for your own clothes. Now how cool is that? 😉

*Note: You’ll still be cool if you decide to knit.

Where’s the option to ‘select all’ because I’m in!

Well just come on down sometime! I almost have my loom running (of course I supply the woman power) and I think you’d really enjoy it. So we’ll just have to have a “learn how to weave” weekend and Neil can go camping with J.D. on the farm ;-)!
