Last year I didn’t wear gloves. I made an effort to wash my hands well with Dawn, Salt, and regular soap after handling the peppers. My hands smelled nice and clean. I made an effort to to touch my eyes for the rest of the day. Two days later I had an eye itch. My eyes burned for 3 hours…it was 3 days later! So yes, make sure to wear gloves!

They are incredibly delicious, and I find myself using them more in more in my cooking. You may surmise that I force them into dishes that probably don’t need them, but I think it makes most foods better.
