Grilled Turkey Sliders

Neil’s poor veggie-less burger :sad face:

My MONSTER…mini burger

So once a month Neil participates in a medical study that prohibits him from having anything veggie for two days. This essentially leaves us with the Atkins diet. If you had told me two years ago that I’d feel limited with only meat as a choice, I would have called you a liar. I had spotted the idea for grilled turkey sliders the other day on A For Aubergine and with the weather being just on the cusp of too cold and cloudy sent Neil out to grill these. It definitely feels like spring now.

Those look tasty! Ruby Tuesdays has a really good Turkey Burger as well that I would recommend

I’m just curious…does ketchup not count as veggie? The ONLY reason I say that is because of the tomatoes…and yes I know, it’s a fruit…I was just curious about the stipulations of the study…these look fantastic by the way!

lol mainstream ketchup is like…2% vegetable, if that. Mostly sugar and corn syrup. The study prohibits substantial servable portions of veggies, cured meats, and certain pasta sauces, etc.

    I’m glad he did the study…but I can’t wait till it’s over.

YUM! I just love sliders – these look so tasty! Making my mouth water just thinking about the burgers my hubby’s grilling up tonight!

  • Those look great! I love sliders and turkey burgers, so this is perfect. Fabulous pictures too 🙂
