Our dear Pinky, who passed away a week after Thanksgiving. She was nearly 18 years old!

A few of the beautiful desserts we made.

My new cousin Austin preparing the other dessert.

Our first organic turkey prepared by Ben. It was so yummy!

Turkey aftermath in the yard.

Sorry these are so late, I got behind in my editing. It was a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family, friends, relaxation and SO MUCH FOOD! View the rest of our photos on our Flickr.

First, I like that kitchen! Second, was that individual cherry cheesecake that Austin was preparing? Looks like a very festive Thanksgiving for all involved.

I love the kitchen too! They are thinking about hardwood floors to replace the vinyl, and I don’t think I’ll want to leave after that. I think they were individual cheesecake, I managed to abstain from too many sweets, saving myself for Christmas!

Funny thing is, is that kitchen is a total mess 99% of the time and has stains, chipping paint, things that need repair, and everything else in between. However, even though its really messy you really learn to love it because you know it got that way because of years and years of cooking, use, family, and age. Really gives it character.
