I changed it. I’m the type of person that…once I get an idea stuck in my head in the way of design, NO other design is possible until I at least resolve the quandry in some way, and now I have so …onward to wedding invites!

I welcome all feedback!

Yes, now you can make your own peeps! I can never eat more than about 5 per season, so maybe this will save me the waste. If I dare sacrifice my nutrition/exercise progress over the past six months. Is it worth it?

Eco Chic Wedding

In planning our wedding, my desire wasn’t to make an overriding, over-the-top statement about how Neil and I feel about a lot of the waste and unnecessry details and ‘things’ weddings seem to accumulate. It was first priority to make our wedding more central to what it is really about; creating first a sustainable union and relationship that in partnership would further our environmentalism where we could. We know we’re not perfect, we know we can’t satisfy every issue, but we made conscious strides, and seeing this and knowing others are doing it too makes us feel immensely connected and one in a greater purpose.

Making users happy is a suckers game. Pushing the envelope is what makes you a winner.” And from comments: “You look at their history. Every [...]

This Saturday at 8:30 p.m., there is a worldwide initiative, known as Earth Hour, that promotes awareness for global climate change. To reduce the amount of electricity used on earth, participating residents, businesses, and governments of 2,712 cities in 83 countries [...]

Do you love sickenly sweet stories?

March 26, 2009

I love sickenly sweet stories and simple, “ordinary” people. We grow up with television and society telling us that proposals have to be some kind of stunt more than a sentiment. That it has to be extravagant, very formal, and in front of as many people as possible. My engagement now over a year ago [...]
